
Visas and Passport
Please make sure you know well in advance of traveling whether you need a visa for your destination country and a passport that has enough pages. We will always be here help you with information and solid advice.
Passport
If you travel to South Africa your passport must be valid for at least one month (30 days) after your intended date of return. However, most countries require the passport to be valid for at least six months after your intended date of return. You also should Double-check if you have at least 6 free VISA pages left in your passport.
Zimbabwe and Zambia Visas
Guests going to both Zimbabwe and Zambia are required to buy Visas at the border. It is currently $30.00 – $80.00 depending on your nationality.
Please make photocopies of your passport and keep a copy in your luggage. Another option is to scan your passport and email the digital copy to yourself in case of an emergency.
Botswana allows you to stay on a tourist VISA you obtain upon entering the country. Please be advised that they will ask you to indicate where you are staying in the country upon arrival.
ZIMBABWE CREDIT CARD, CASH & CURRENCY PROBLEMS
All Guests going to Zimbabwe MUST bring enough cash, in US Dollars, to pay their meal and activity bills, as operators prefer cash as opposed to Credit Cards.

Botswana Trek activities/safaris can involve camping in remote wilderness areas of Botswana. While the safaris are non-participatory and comfortable, participants must be reasonably fit. We will send you a form to submit any medical conditions we need to be aware of.
